This Follow-Up report analyses the Republic of Tajikistan's progress in addressing the technical compliance deficiencies identified in its 2018 Mutual Evaluation Report.

Tajikistan has demonstrated significant progress in addressing the technical compliance deficiencies noted in the Mutual Evaluation. The country has been upgraded on 6 Recommendations:

  • Recommendations 6, 7, 12, 22 and 25 are re-rated from Partially Compliant to Largely Compliant
  • Recommendation 17 is re-rated from Not Applicable to Partially Compliant

Tajikistan has 32 recommendations rated C/LC and 8 rated PC.

Tajikistan remains in the enhanced follow-up process and will continue to report to the EAG on progress in strengthening its national AML/CFT system.
